FLYBY FEST is an original nct-centric fest inspired by the pairings of huang renjun with the maknae of each subunit: lee haechan, liu yangyang, and park jisung.WHAT DOES THE NAME MEAN? a flyby occurs when a spacecraft travels closely past an object in space for purposes of observation or, as in a gravity assist, to alter its path of flight. it may also refer to space objects that naturally cross paths without colliding.the context of a flyby fest is meant to acknowledge the value and impact on the fandom that writers, artists, and other content creators have, in addition to the reciprocal influence held by renjun and each maknae in their respective relationships.this fest was conceived by mod 🚀 (20s, they/them) who loves each of these ships deeply and wanted a way to give a spotlight to all three without having to choose. please offer your kind words and support as this is their first time running a fest!

RULES!1. first and foremost, there will be zero tolerance of harassment, bullying, or otherwise unpleasant behavior directed towards fest participants or mods. needless to say, anti-rpf/rps individuals are unwelcome in this space.2. works must include at least one of the focal ships: renhyuck, renyang, or rensung.   2a. you may include two or even all three pairs, in any configuration, as well as any side ships if you wish.
   2b. platonic and polyamorous dynamics are allowed and encouraged.3. minors may join, but will not be permitted to prompt nor write nsfw content.4. in the interest of maximizing participants' creative freedoms as well as the comfort of all involved, please dm the twitter account for a rundown of the dead dove policy if you are interested. submissions of this nature will be thoroughly reviewed, then approved or denied on a case-by-case basis.5. this fest will not allow submissions involving lucas wong.6. you may disclose your involvement and share wips throughout the fest as you see fit, but please remain anonymous as much as possible until reveals!
